In order to be an effective rugby player, one must be strong and well-built while also at the same time ensuring they drop unnecessary weight and fit enough to last all 80 minutes of a match. It’s not an easy task and many players come from the off-season with extra weight they know they need to drop. Robert Jennings, who plays centre and wing for the South Sydney Rabbitohs, had a similar issue.
“I came back heavy probably from eating too many carbs. I’ve cut out all of that and I’ve already dropped weight.” said Jennings.
The 28 Day Reboot Challenge is for people from all walks of life and can be used for many different purposes. For Jennings, it was about being able to perform better on the field and feel healthier off the field.
“It [the 28 Day Reboot Challenge] was tough with training.” said Jennings “But it went well. I lost weight and the products tasted good.”
Jennings played in 13 matches for the Rabbitohs in his first season and is looking to come back and play even more.
Freedom Foods partnered with the South Sydney Rabbitohs and a few of their players to take part in the 28 Day Reboot Challenge.
